This database presents data on child immunization coverage for a wide variety of diseases for children 19-35 months of age. Prior to 2006, data were reported from all states and immunization action plan areas.  From 2006 onward, data have been reported from all states and local areas available.  Recommendations for some vaccinations have changed over time.  (For example, recommendations for the hepatitis A vaccine from were changed from 24 months or older to ages 12-23 months in May 2006.)  As a result, not all immunizations are available from all areas in all years.  U.S. estimates include the 50 States plus the District of Columbia, but exclude the Virgin Islands.

The data are presented with confidence intervals, e.g., 95.5±0.5.  These reflect point estimates (in percent) ± 95% confidence intervals.  NA indicates estimates are not available because of limited sample size or other restrictions or because the vaccination was not generally provided.
