Marriage Licenses (CA only) (Archives only, 2006-2014)

This database contains the number of marriage licenses issued, and it reports licenses per 1,000 persons and per 1,000 persons aged 20-29.  The number of licenses issued may not equal the number of marriages that actually occur.  NA indicates either that data were not provided or that the number of licenses totaled less than 15. Per capita rates have been calculated using July 1st population data for each year from the U.S. Bureau of the Census.  That population data is also available here.
