The FBI has delayed the release of recent data due to technical reasons.  We will update as soon as we receive the update from the FBI.

 

This database reports arrest data for 29 arrest classifications for participating agencies in the FBI's Unified Crime Reporting (UCR) Program.  Data are not avaialable for all possible combinations of offenses, demographic categories, and areas.  County totals are not available but will be added with the next update.

 

Note: Many agencies in the state of Illinois have reported inconsistently since 1999.

<li>A Black is a person person having origins in any of the black racial groups of Africa. </li>
<li>An Indian is a person having origins in any of the original peoples of North and South America (including Central America) and who maintains tribal affiliation or community attachment. </li>
<li>A White is a person having origins in any of the original peoples of Europe, the Middle East, or North Africa. </li>
