| Additional Background | This temporary accountability system provides 2016 data on based on the state's Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF). This system reports math and lanuage arts enrollment, students tested, and participation rates for all students, and various sub-groups, including African American, American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, Filipino, Hispanic, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, White, Two or More Races, Socioeconomic Disadvantaged, English Learner, and Students with Disabilities.
It will be replced by a new accountability system that evaluates schools and school districts across 10 areas. We expect to post those data in mid-2017. For additional information, see this CDE news release.

AMA uses numerical superscript for citing sources in-text and refers to a list at the end of the work. These references appear in sequential order of when the sources were cited, instead of alphabetical order.
